Frequently asked questions
Office hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–4:30 pm. Call (407) 897-8870.
How do I arrange a consultation?
Call (407) 897-8870 Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, to ask about appointment times and consultation fees. You can also send a note through the consultation form. This preview site does not email the office, so a call is how a consultation gets on the calendar.
How do I check USCIS processing times?
Check current processing times on the USCIS processing times page. Use the menus there to choose the form, category, and field office or service center.
How long does the process take?
Timing depends on the kind of case and the agency’s workload. USCIS publishes estimates, and an estimate is not a decision date. Filing receipts for petitions or applications filed with USCIS are generally received within 30 days of filing. A receipt confirms that a filing was accepted. It is not an approval.
How can I check my case status?
If you have a case pending with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), use USCIS Case Status Online and the receipt number on your filing receipt. Call the office if you are not sure which notice to use.
How can I submit documents?
Signed forms and supporting documents can be returned to Lim Krewson by email, mail, or in person by appointment. Emailed documents must be scans. Photographs of documents are not accepted. Call the office before you send sensitive records so the team can confirm the right method. Do not send original documents unless your legal team asks for them.
Can I speak with someone in Spanish?
Yes. Tell the office your language preference when you call. Henry Lim’s background includes English and Spanish, and Spanish is spoken on the team.
